    First powerlifting meet, 181 division with a 1155 total!

    Had my first meet this weekend. It was a long day but a great experience.

    The atmosphere there was great and helped me get two new PRs!



    sorry for the vertical video haha!

    I can't wait to compete again and will around novemberish.

    Let me know what you think and if you have any advice it would be greatly appericated.

    thanks man, the first attempt i admit i didnt wait for the press command, but the second lift should of been good, yes my ass flexed but it did not leave the bench as multiple lifters saw this and stated it should of been good. It just sucks because i was planning on hitting at least 275. oh well, ill just crush those numbers at my next meet!

    Nice job man, That 500 lb Deadlift went up like you do it all the time lol. I just competed in my first meet, but benchpress only. I hit 275, then hit 290, and then missed 300 on my 3rd attempt after what felt like the longest pause of my life. I'm competing at 181 also.

    Yeah I was surprised how fast 500 came up! Bench is def my weak point as most of the 181ers hit high 200's low 300's.Good job on the 290! And yea the pause makes it feel like internity! What are your other numbers?
