Ok.. I see people who have 6 pack abs and have nice definition in there body.. Then they bulk and gain 50 pounds in 3 months. And I am like wtf did you do to yourself.. Now you cant see your abs and now your muscle tone is not that visible... Why..... And why are you cutting back a little bit now?
What are the benefits of bulking big, then cutting a little bit?
I thought fat is fat. And muscle tissue is muscle tissue. Fat wont turn into muscle.. So why are people bulking then cutting.. they just are gaining fat, and then losing the fat? Can someone please explain this to me..
sorry if this is dumb question.. im new 2 the bodybuilding world..

You can't gain significant amounts of muscle, unless you're in a caloric surplus. In a caloric surplus, you're going to put on some fat, no matter how clean your diet is.
Basically, the people that bulk and then cut aren't satisfied with just having a low body fat percentage, they want bigger muscles too."Take a breath; reawake; call forth the dread in your way. Subdue; prevail; triumph over every day."
