So I've been weight lifting for about 6 months, and I started noticing that I'm getting really exhausted when I'm doing my squats. I run out of stamina before I'm even halfway through my reps.
I realize that this means I need to do more cardio than the 5 minutes of warm up before lifting. So I was thinking I could run about 1.5 miles every day I don't do lifting (so that would be 3 days of cardio, 3 days of weight lifting, and 1 rest day).
My question is, would this cause me to lose any of my muscle mass (I have trouble gaining weight), provided that I increase my protein/caloric intake?

first off, bigger lifts like squats, deadlifts, and bench press use a lot more energy then other lifts.i feel completely drained after my deadlifts and squats, you could put them towards the end of your workout so u have energy to do your other lifts
weight 222lbs
goal: 240lbs then cut to 210lbs,
you gotta try before you fail,
and failing is not an option!
