Right now I am pretty lean but think I am holding water around my abs. My diet is extremely clean. I eat a bowl of oatbran( 50g carbs)a day and the rest of my carbs come from lettuce and broccoli(1c). The rest of my diet consists of protein( salmon, eggwhites chickenbreasts cottage cheese). I eat roughly about 2700 calories per day. I train very intensly with 3 hrs of running on an elliptical and then 45min- 1hr heavy lifting 5x per week. I seem to have a potruding stomach though. I eat large volumes of food but I'm wondering with my training if im holding water or fat. I am lean all over but my stomach seems to hold me back. I know to reduce sodium I should drink more water to lose it but its going to be hard eliminating sodium in my diet while keeping my protein high. I eat large volumes of cottage cheese(4c) and the salmon I eat has 380mg sodium per peice. I eat 5 peices a day. Would a water pill help at all? What do you suggest to see my abs again? thanks

diet and water retention
...Not with uncertainty. Thus I Fight:not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into Subjection...
1 Corinthians 9:26-27
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own. You were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

Yeah i do 3hrs of elliptical per day. The weights are 5x per week. I have been doing this for maybe 6 months now. I really dont want to change my diet if I dont have to. Is there any solution? Double water? O yeah and I work full time, stocking over night in a grocery store. The work is very physical ,contantly moving around, lifting heavy boxes and wooden pallets. I'm sure it burns quite a few calories.

You are probabaly right about the fat. I really want my abs back but I am getting burned out with 3 hours a day.I was doing 2hrs before but my calories were lower. I think I might drop my calories a bit and cut my cardio to 2hrs. What do you think? How much should I drop? I dont want to lose muslcle.
