I got a taste of 900 calorie shake from gym last night and loved it. But I don't wont to pay almost $5 a pop for it every time I want one.
How would you mass gainer gurus create the ultimate high calorie/high protein shake for mass?

Buy a tub of Malto. Add 100g to 2 scoops of protein and you have ~250 cals from protein and 400 cals from malto. Then add in 1 tbls olive oil or canola oil or some such for 100+ more cals.
You honestly should not need more than that calorie wise in a single shake. But this combo is not very expensive at all as you can use whatever protein you want and malto is like $2.25/pound at most and as low as $1/pound.Latest Reviews:

That is a ton of calories wow.
If I was to make my own shake strictly with macronutrients for gaining weight I would have
25-30 grams whey protein concentrate
25-30 grams grams milk protein isolate / concentrate/ calcium caseienate
Essential fatty acids
8-12 grams
Carbohydrates: maybe 50-70max grams ( really depends on how heavy I am bulking and if I had an intra workout shake.
75% carbs that are low in sugar ( starch, oats,)
25% fast acting carbs

2 cups 2% milk
2 scoops of ON whey
1/2 cup of oats
2-4 tbs on peanut butter
1 banana
In the ball park of 1000-1200 calories. Wasted money on weight gainer tubs before but not anymore. They usually only come with 14 servings. Just buy whey with 71+ servings and make your own high calorie shake.--512 Austin TX crew---

haha -- 1 serving is 2600 cals (3 servings in the bottle). You mix it with 1 gal of whole milk and drink it throughout the day

I came up with this today while munching on my "Big Colossal" bar....ok i know that doesn't sound right but you know what I mean, and realized it was 410 Calories.
So lets say:
For a chocolate drink- whey+ whole milk+ cookies and cream protein bar+ peanut butter+oil......blend...
that should be around 1200 calories..
substitute a fruit protein bar(for the calories) and add real fruit for a different one.."An army is a team. It lives, eats, sleeps, fights as a team. This individuality stuff is a bunch of bull$hi?." - General George Patton Jr
