Exclamation BB Rows VS. DB Rows..? --For Back--

Which is better to train with?
Or I should train with both on the same workout?
Maybe on back workout I train with DB and the next time I train back I might use BB? (In this case I shouldn't loose the DB/BB gains from the previous workout?)

    I really wonder about this!

pick one, they both are rowing movement; pointless to do both in the same workout.

i perfer the bar because its less likely i may lose form and roll my torso

I see nothing wrong with using both. I have made great gains from using both, although I make sure the execution is slightly different.

I currently use BB with a wider grip and regular bent-over angle. Later on I use DB with a closer grip and palms facing each other. Sometimes I use a Pendlay type angle.

Try both and see if it works. If not, try one for a few weeks and then try the other for a few weeks. You'll find out what works for you.

Well.. I was referring at BB Bent-over rows and the DB rows (the one you do with a leg on a bench and rowing the dumbbell with one arm)

Do them both if you want to. DB rows are slightly different.

The one you're referring to, is known as a one arm row.

    BB rows = overhand grip
UH BB rows = underhand grip
    DB rows = neutral grip

    all 3 are great exercises.

barbell always has the disadvantage of imbalancing the muscle group your working. DBs allow you to feel every movement and become more insync with your muscle through co-ordination (which is important for max strength gains)
barbell on the other hand also gives you the choice of wide or close grip which also each have their advantages.

EVERYBODY: THERE IS NOOO ALTERNATE EXERCISE FOR ANYTHING!!!!!! STOP ASKING THESE QUESTIONS...............AS VICTOR MARTINEZ TOLD YOU A MILLION TIMES, THERE IS NO EXERCISE YOU SHOULDNT SKIP OR NEVER DO!
Plus everybodys body adapts to certain movements and if you dont try it all you will never get maximum results the quickest
