The TexaLove
Combined the Texas Method for squats and deadlifts with the Smolov jr for benching.
Cliffs:
Bench 4 x week (Smolov jr)
Squat 3 x week (Texas Method) (volume, light and intensity day)
Dead 1 x week (Texas Method)

A Texas Method / Smolov jr Hybrid
Current 1 Rep Max vs Lift attempts at comp
Bench: 130 kg /\/\/\ 135 – 142.5 – 150 kg
Squat: 160 kg /\/\/\ 167.5 -175 – 185 kg
Dead: 180 kg /\/\/\ 210 – 220 - 227.5 kg
Total: 470 kg /\/\/\ 537.5 /\/\/\ 562.5 (1237 lbs)
Competition 1: Bench only. Sunday 19/10/14
Competition 2: Full Powerlifting Meet. Saturday 25/10/14
Basics:
Monday: Smolov Bench, Texas Squat, T Bar, Pull ups
Wednesday: Smolov Bench, Texas Squat, Pull ups, arms
Friday: Smolov Bench, Texas Squat, Texas Deadlift,
Saturday: Smolov Bench, DB Rows, Pull ups, arms
Progression:
Smolov Bench: 4 week cycle (Base + 5 + 5 + 2.5 kg) (rest) then 3 week cycle (Base + 5 + 2.5 kg)
Texas Squat: 9 week cycle + 2.5 kg each week. May have to drop 1x5 to 1x3, will review.
Texas Deadlift: 9 week cycle + 2.5 kg each week
