3. People will think of you two as a couple.

4. You will be fine with referring to each other as bf/gf when talking with others.

I think it's good to give it some recognition though. Just asking them to be your girl friend is kinda weird, but most girls (not all of course) seem to like some kind of proposal. I remember I just asked mine something like "So are we gonna make this official or what" and she flipped out. I phrased it more suave than that though

I had the same thing going for me when i was in middle school, We hung out a bit out of school, i walked her to class and we would grab arms and sh!t, and kiss on the cheek (im innocent). Few of my friends even though we were going out, So did i. But about a week later she was going out with some baseball player, Swaping spit. Feels bad man, But just ask her out once you feel comfortable enough with her.
