    Best Football Position for me ?

    I'm about 5'7" and 234 lbs and I know I should be on the line, but what specific position ? I'm hoping my team my sophomore year because right now I'm not strong enough and don't have enough muscle now. I'm training to be more explosive by doing plyometrics. I'm doing strength training 2 days on 1 day off. How else should I train and what should my nutrition look like ( cut, maintain, or bulk ) ?

    if you arent strong enough go on Starting Strength. Best program there is for budding athletes.

    The best position for you is the same as it is for everyone. Where the team needs you. A basic routine as Amar has described and lots of skill work is what you need.

    I agree with the others, get on a good program, Either Starting Strength or 5x5, as long as you are Squating, and pushing heavy multiple times a week you will see rapid gains.

    At your age and experience level, you don't need to worry about cutting/bulking. Don't load up on crap calories, and you will see your body fat drop, and your strength increase.
