henkejo's 10-week Double T Challenge LOG
Emotionally recovering from a lost love is no easy feat. In my case, I've lost two. Just shy of two weeks ago I went through a break-up of my first romantic love. It's a complicated situation, but what makes it worse is the fact that my step-mom who has been battling leukemia for 2-3 years is going to die by the end of this week or into next week.
I'm using these next 10 weeks to channel all of my pain and anger into lifting. I've decided to dedicate my transformation to my step-mom, Cindy. It's an effort to prove that life is beautiful and worth living to the fullest.
I will post starting pics next Monday as well as weekly logs of my lifts. I'm pretty short (about 5'5 and a half) and am a lightweight (starting at about 127 pounds). I have lifted in the past, so I do have some decent strength to start things off. I'm relying on a good friend of mine to design my workouts, but I'm a little nervous about my eating habits because I'm not a big eater, and to be completely honest, I don't have the largest appetite right now.
As for supplements, I should be receiving my supply of NO-Beta & Creadyl early next week. I also have a bag of Optimum Whey and a container of Men's Daily Multivitamins from Target.
I would really appreciate tips about anything bodybuilding related. I may invest in a weight gainer because drinks are much easier to take down right now. Any ideas?
Edit: My goal is to gain as much muscle as possible, but specifically I would like to put on 15-20 pounds by the end of the tenth week.

Still waiting on my supp. shipment. They should be arriving today. Will post start pictures today on my Bodyspace. I also ordered a weight gainer to help pack on size. Any suggestions on dosage size for NO-Beta? I only weigh about 127 pounds. I don't want to over-do it.
Currently eating a turkey sandwich at work :-)

Finally got my products in the mail today. I will rep anyone who lays out a schedule for cycling No-Beta and CreaDyl. Here is my split:
Mon: Legs
Tues: Chest/Bis
Wed: Off
Thur: Sho/Traps
Fri: Back/Tris
I lift at around 6 pm. What times during training and off days should I take each supplement? Thanks guys!

Thank you sir. Things are going well so far. Week 1 in the bag with a total weight gain of about 6 pounds (About 131 now). I'm assuming most has gone to my legs, but I've noticed a little chub in my pecs. Not worried about it as I'm just trying to put on any weight right now. I did have a cold for a few days and was out of the gym, but now I'm going strong.
WEEK 1 (125 lbs - 131 lbs)
Eating Regime:
Meal 1 (8am): (A) Protein Shake w/ 3 graham crackers, scoop protein, spoon of PB, and banana (B) Protein Shake - substitute graham crackers with oats
Meal 2 (1030am): (A) Oatmeal and some Almonds (B) Bowl of Cinnamon Start w/ Protein Cereal (C) Few servings of cottage cheese and almonds
Meal 3 (1230pm): Fruit & (A) Chicken & Rice (B) Ground Beef Taco Salad (C) Chipotle Burrito - 1/2 chicken, 1/2 steak
Meal 4 (3pm): (A) PB Sandwich w/ Protein enhanced bread (B) Apple Sauce, almonds, cottage cheese
Meal 5 (7pm): Post work-out protein shake, Fruit, & (A) Bacon/Egg sandwich (B) Pizza (C) Burger & Salad - I'm lazy about cooking at this time, so I will eat whatever I can get my hands on
Meal 6 (10pm): Weight gainer shake & Cottage Cheese
Supplement Regime:
I take 3 tablets NO Beta with my morning shake & a multi-vitamin. Have not been taking CreaDyl in mornings. Still waiting on someon'es suggestions for CreaDyl dosing..
About 20 minutes pre-workout I take another 4-5 tablets NO-Beta & then
mix 1 scoop CreaDyl and drink throughout workout
Protein Source: using 100% Ultimate Whey & Muscle Juice (I usually do half servings with milk)
Multivitamin: Up & Up Men's Daily from Target
Training: I lost my workout journal so I'm not exactly sure on my lifts. What I can say is that I have been focusing more on lifting properly rather than pushing weight. I use extreme concentration on every lift to ensure that I'm using the targeted muscle group to move the weight. I will have reps and weights up for Week 2, shortly.
My thoughts on NO-Beta & CreaDyl:
Beta:
1. I get tingles in my forehead and ears immediately after swallowing my Beta tablets.
2. Feel more force in the muscles that I'm using. For example, at work in the mornings I can literally feel the blood in my forearms as I'm typing away at my keyboard.
3. Energy boost
4. Motivation - probably a placebo effect going on here
CreaDyl:
1. I don't care about taste as long as it gets the job done, but the lemon lime flavor is good enough for me.
2. Puts me in the zone. After a serving, nothing else matters except weights.
3. Energizer for those longer sets.
I've also felt an increase in libido. Not sure if this is from the supps or just working out more, in general.

Sorry, my log is a little sloppy right now. I will clean it up for future weeks. I have seen a sharp acclivity in body weight. I'm flying! Like I said, I'm trying to gain as much weight as possible for the first 8 weeks. Will cut hard in the last two weeks. Take care all!

I just realized during lunch that I am very happy. It's the happiest I've been in a long time. Life is better when you take care of yourself. Working out is certainly a central component, but by-products (nutrition, sleep, confidence, etc.) are all factors that are influencing my emotions. For the last week things have slowed down and life feels less pressured. For the first time, I'm happy with waking up, going to my mediocre job, working out, watching a good movie (watched "Pumping Iron" last night, lulz), going to bed, and repeating. Good health makes life amazing. It's at these times that we realize a good life shouldn't be taken for granted.
Just a thought.. Hope all of your transformations are going as or better than expected. Mine is!

On Big Photos:
Ahhhh! I am so sorry about the enormous pictures guys! I will re-format those when I am back on my buddy's computer. I do most of my posting from work and I can't upload photos from here. Plus, I am such a computer neophyte. But if you have the time, you should check out the pics on my bodyspace. I'm curious to hear some feedback.
On Transformation Progress:
Anyway, as far as the transformation, I am beyond satisfied with where I am at. Bulking is hard work! I literally force feed myself everyday. Actually, it is not that bad. My body is adapting and I'm usually hungry every 2-3 hours. So far now I've put on about 16 pounds! I just purchased a second round of CreaDyl and got some fat calipers as a free gift so I should have tentative bf% measures up soon. Speaking of CreaDyl, I have been double-dosing everyday and its definitely the way to go. I noticed enormous strength gains immediately after taking the recommended two servings each day. I dropped 7 NO-Beta pills down the esophagus yesterday before legs and I thought my legs were going to explode! And speaking of legs, WOW. By the end of the ten weeks, I want to see huge improvements in my legs. So far, I'm seeing those changes. Well you can probably tell that I'm freakin' happy right now.
On Things I need to work on:
Posing: I suck, bad! Especially my back pose. I'm rotating my arms forward too much blocking the view of my bicep peaks.
Form Checks: Bb Bicep Curls. I'm constantly fluctuating my weight because my bicep curl form is sloppy.
Bringing up my Chest: I feel its lagging in size. My shoulders seem to be overpowering them. I guess I don't really know, though. I'll let you be the judge.
Not getting sick: I've had two colds during the past four weeks. Two! Why? I don't know. Probably because I work in an office with a bunch of middle-aged, child-rearing women. I guess I need to start drinking Purell. Ha
On Diet:
Has stayed mostly the same as in my initial posting. Been eating a lot of ground beef with taco seasoning and chicken/rice combos.
On Training:

Pullups 3x8x8x8 Warm-ups
Rack Deadlifts 225x6x6x10
Did not keep track of remaining lifts
On Supplements:
CreaDyl: I really started to enjoy the lemon-lime flavor. Makes me think of Starburst candy. Makes me look much fuller throughout the day. I'm trying out the Orange Cream for the last weeks. I've heard good things.
NO-Beta: Boom! Feels good, man. I probably waste half of the energy I get from those babies on the car-ride to the gym. It works that fast!
On Life:
Happy. Only 5-6 weeks left! I feel like I'm on the home stretch already and its only been 4 weeks. I'll judge how much "cutting" I need to do by weight gains, if any, during the next 3 weeks. I've been a skinny b**** for the last 22 years. Honestly, I'm enjoying the thicker look for the time being.
Hope all is well everyone! Keep it up!

To The Infinite!
Nice log so far! CreaDyl and NO Beta are awesome stacked together.
Is your diet still the same? If you want to cut start dropping some calories. Around 300-500 calories per day is a good rule of thumb. After a week if you lose too much or don't lose as much you can make adjustments to fit your needs better.
