Warrior Diet, Best of Feasts #1
Welcome
Well considering that this forum has numerous threads that are created such as "Meals Eating Now" or others along those lines. Taking into consideration the recent growth of the Warrior Diet, I felt it necessary to create a thread that is strictly for the "Best of Feasts" for all those following this extraordinary lifestyle.
Quick Background
The Warrior Diet is based on a daily feeding cycle of "undereating" during the day and "overeating" at night. The "Undereating Phase" during the day maximizes the Sympathetic Nervous System's (SNS) fight or flight reaction to stress, thereby promoting alertness, generation of energy, fat burning and the capacity to endure stress.
The "Overeating Phase" at night maximizes the Parasympathetic Nervous System's (PNS) recuperation effect on the body, thereby promoting calming down, relaxation, digestion and the utilization of nutrients for repair and growth. This feeding cycle stimulates the production of cellular factors such as Cyclic AMP or GMP, which stimulate hormone synthesis and fat burning during the day, as well as protein synthesis and growth during the night, respectively.
Most people in America can't keep a diet. We are the most successful nation on earth. It puzzles me how millions of intelligent people who manage with great skill their professional careers can't manage their own diet. The statistics are staggering. Diet related blood sugar problems including diabetes, impotency, infertility, high blood pressure and cardiovascular diseases are at an all time high. Notwithstanding all the data on nutritional science and health, most diets fail.
Men and women suffer from Stubborn Fat related problems (the fat that is almost impossible to remove). Moreover, diet related mental issues such as eating disorders, food phobias, guilt and feelings of failure lead people into depression and despair. Women are of special concern. Social pressures and unrealistic models for self-image and obsessions with body weight lead many women to follow any fad diet that promises a quick fix. Human common sense, logic and instincts that are necessary for all other life activities all but disappear when it comes to diets.
Common knowledge says that diets fail because of a lack of self-esteem on behalf of those who try dieting. The truth is far from that, as I will soon argue. Diets fail because they're wrong. Mainstream diet gurus tell you to eat many small meals during the day. They tell you not to overeat, under eat or to skip a meal. They tell you to avoid meats, dairy, bread, caffeine and chocolate. I'm here to tell you that it doesn't have to be that way.
Rules for Posting
1. Obviously the Warrior Diet is a personal preference, please refrain from making any derogatory comments or views towards this lifestyle. The members who post in here at one point felt that this lifestyle best suites them and realize it is not for everyone. Warrior Diet activist understand that negativity will surround our choice to partake in it but lets do keep negativity to a minimum.
2. This is a "Best of" thread, with that in mind, post only quality pictures from your nightly FEAST, or feel free to create daily picture time lines of what you consumed during both your over eating and under eating phases.
3. Lets all just have fun, be positive, and lets see some feasts!!!

Holy pancakes! Impressive, man.
My feeding window's a bit larger so I generally end up having two epic meals (for the purpose of a bulk). Here's how tonight's looking:
2 c pasta, 1 tbsp olive oil, 8 oz beef, 8 oz chicken, 1/2 cup mozz cheese, PB on toast...
gonna be followed with a humongous chipotle burrito in a few hours. It's already sitting in my fridge and has everything in it.Eternal Gym Rat, Student Physical Therapist. None of my post content should be taken as medical advice. Ask your doctor/PT.

My feasts always start the same when I get back from the gym.. I go straight to the fridge and grab a bag of broc and a bag of romaine salad. broc goes in the microwave and the salad is shoveled into my mouth. when the broc is done that is next. I follow that up with my protein shake, and after that is when I decide what I am going to eat for the night.
tonight i was in the mood for tilapia as my main source of protein
I always add more veggies with my protein.
after that it was time for some carbs to fuel my cardio training.
after that I was about 260 cals shy.. so i added in some life cereal and honey.
here's the macro breakdown for the meal
the ice cream was delicious as usual
Ill use a better camera for better meals, lol..Last edited by asto_86; 02-06-2010 at 03:56 PM.

Feast Meal for tonight, got home from football practice at 11:49pm, ate until about 1:00am. Here is the meal:
First (not pictures): Big Bowl of Assorted Veggies (Broccoli, Cauliflower, Mushrooms, Carrots, Spinach, Green Beans, and Asparagus)
Main Courses:
32 Egg Whites Scrambled with 16 oz of Spains freshest and finest shaved Jamon! An entire loaf of bread, and a fresh new Peanut Butter to start with tonight. Peanut Butter here in Spain is ridiculously hard to find and when found, extremely expensive, damn near 8 Euros for this bad boy, that is about 12 USD.
After about 45 minutes I looked down and noticed I worked my way through a third of the jar, opps!
First Dessert, 2 warm microwaved chocolate filled soft bread pastries, absolutely mouth watering when microwaved for 15 seconds, YUMMY!
Final Dessert, 2 Nestle Gold Vanilla Covered with Cacao Bars, "then I geezed in my pants!"
I have a game tomorrow vs our rivals here in Barcelona, so looking forward to it, now some rest and sleep off this meal! Can not wait till tomorrow, I am thinking 3 or 4 Kebabs from down the street!!!!BB.Com Male Transformation of the Week Winner
