    whey protein

I read somewhere on this board that creatine bloats your face. Does anyone know if whey protein does something similar?

Creatine does no such thing, fat bloats your face. The person was probably on a "bulk" whilst taking creatine and got fat and thus his face got fat. Whey protein is just milk, its the fast acting protein from milk. Ever hear of someone getting a bloated face from milk? Only unless they have an alergy.

I've never noticed creatine bloating my face, that's for sure. All "bloating" I've ever noticed was intramuscular.

creatine fills ur muscle with water so obvioulsy ur muscles ar going to get a bloated look which you could intrerpret as size gain, but some people have been known to get bloating in and around their face, i'd say those are the ones who are not taking the recommended dosage.

    protein wont bloat ur face!

Searched this sorry for the bump.. But through my experience protein DOES bloat my face. This will be the third time I stopped taking protein, stopped 2 weeks ago.. bloat is gone.. more chiseled features.

I now have bout 5 lbs of protein left I'll be saving for next winter.

Are you using a quality isolate or a cheap concentrate? I know concentrate causes some people some digestive and bloating issues due to the lactose in it.

Maybe you're slightly lactose intolerant or something. If someone isn't taking ridiculous amounts of whey, I highly doubt their face would bloat if it doesn't from milk.

    Dymatize, ON, Myofusion, EAS, IDS

all of these proteins cause bloating, I may be picky on facial features.. but try not taking protein shakes for two weeks and see what your face looks like.

Not lactose intolerant in the least bit.
