    Question Most Conservative Cutting Diet?

    ...without burning up too much muscle, what would be the macros for the ideal cutting diet? I'm new to this...

    There is no straightforward answer to this, just read the articles on cutting and you should be able to come up with the macros on your own.

    - 1g protein per lb of of bodyweight
    - Sufficient EFA intake
    - 500 calorie deficit

    this pretty much as basic as you can get. Everyone responds differently to different things. For me a best cut done in ketosis or 90g carbs or less.

    This. If you want to be conservative, drop by 200-250 cals a day for a week, and see if you lose any weight. When you start losing, stay at that intake until the weight loss stalls, then drop again.
