I started in Feb of 2006 with a 205lb bench. I didn't perform any leg exercises more often than once every 3-4 months (if that) until late last summer when I noticed I was looking a lil "top heavy". I started with a 265 squat and a 405 dead.

my ultimate goal is to rep 225x50 reps! if i could keep myself from getting injured i hope to get there by summer! another goal i've been shooting for is to be a 40/40 man as i call it. i'd like to rep my bodyweight over 40 times and get over 40 chin-ups.

Started lifting when I was fourteen.
The first time I remember benching it was about 155 for 8 or so. I do remember hitting 225x3 by the time I was fifteen though.

My first squat was around a year after I started training with 135. I think I did a few sets of 10 and I vividly remember being brutally sore for days after, haha. I tried again the week after and hit 225 for 10. Which was more or less my starting point.

I don't remember the first DL I ever did but I do remember being excited to hit 3 plates for the first time so it was less than that.

As for now (9 years later, with a nearly four year 'break' which ended 20 months ago)
    Bench: 365 touch and go
    Deadlift: 606 conventional, 620 sumo
Squat: 495x3 so whatever that may work out to.

Pretty much wasted the past couple of years doing crappy workouts and having a sh!t diet so I've forgotten about all my lifts back then (pretty bad anyways) and started fresh. Started training about a month ago after having 6 months off. 3 months due to travel and the other 3 I badly injured my arm in an accident. Lost it all

4 and a bit weeks ago I was:
    Bench: 133x5
    Squat: 190x5
    Dead: 290x5

    Now:
    Bench: 188x5
    Squat: 230x5 (but probably higher)
    Dead: 330x5

Put on about 8-10kg in a month, no bs. I'm eating 10x more than I ever have been. It's working a treat

without any training you could bench 225x6 and deadlift 375? the first time?

    i've started at
    squat 45lbs to 300 squat
bench 45(couldn't get all 5 reps across 3 sets) to 175
    deadlift 95 to 305

    still gaining strength though.

5 months in the gym, started last september. I worked out a fair amount about 6-7 years ago before a wife and kiddos. Took a long break happy to be back in. First PL comp is March 13 trying to get to 165.

    Deadlift was 225 X 4 now 425 X 1
    squat was 185 X 3 I think, now 275 (working on this)
Bench was 185 X 4 I think, now possible 270, confirmed 250 (the possible was from the douchbag who never took his hands off the bar during spot)

    all at 170Lbs

I suck at squatting, really working on that, today is squat day actually.
    I'm gonna teabag your drumset

    high school:

Squat - around 250lbs (half reps)
    Deadlift - 350lbs
    Bench - 220lbs
    Push-press - 165lbs

    Now:

    Squat - 550+
    Deadlift - 620
    Bench - 315x4 (close-grip)
    Push-press - 335

Funny how I made the majority of my progress after finishing high school and entering the work-force

well, i didn't really start consistently going to the gym until about jan 2009 but my stats were
    benchpress: 155lbs x 3
squat: 205lbs x 4 (tried to do 225lbs but then bigger guys had to help me put it back on the rack )
deadlift: didn't do at that point

    feb. 2010
    benchpress: 240lbs x 5
    squat: 355lbs x 4
    deadlifts: 345lbs x 5

    Now:
    bench 265 x 5 or 6
    deadlift 405 x 8
    curl 135 x 8 or 9
I started lifting at home, but I didn't have any Barbells. When I first started at the gym, i could Squat 155 Parallel, Bench 95, and Deadlift 170. lol That was in December.

Now I'm Squatting 195x5 ATG (Can do 225 Parallel, but doing ATG for a while.) and Deadlifting 285x5. I switched to DB Bench Presses to improve my stabilizers; my Bench was stalling a bit.

not sure how much I can curl; I usually do Chin-Ups for my Bicep work.

    Edit: December 3rd I was 132 pounds. Now I'm 137.

squat - i can't give a good number because everybody seems to squat high in the beggining the only legit squat i coulda probly done was 200
deadlift 350ish i remember i got 315x5 my first deadlift session
    bench lol probly 145?

    now..well i weighed in at 222 today
and you all know how heavy i lift but for the unaware
i've pulled 700 in a deadlift suit a year ago
i've pulled 625 raw conventional with the swine flu
i've squatted a deep 530 raw and it's up alot from smolov.
and i still suck at benching but i floor pressed 310 today and full pressed 315.

Well, let's see...first time I ever set foot in a gym was June 2009, at age 40. Always had a desk job (except for food service work as a teen, and a stint in the Army around age 20). Had to teach myself how to lift.

    Bench: bar
    Squat: bar
    DL: 135, badly.

Started training seriously, with a team, on Nov 1, 2009.

    Today (gym totals):
Bench: 245 (probably. That's where it was when I injured my rotator cuff in December. I'm finishing up rehab now).
Squat: 380 (ignoring the 145 lbs of chain on the bar at the time)
    Dead: 455.

First meet: 3 week from this Saturday.
First total: Hopefully decently over 1,000.
    Next meet: May, probably.
Next total: I'm going to work my ass off to try to hit 1,200.

    Now:
    bench 265 x 5 or 6
    deadlift 405 x 8
    curl 135 x 8 or 9
you benched 225x6 without training, you registered almost 3 years ago and you have only added 40 lbs to your bench?

    45-65 lb bench

    185 or so deadlift

didnt squat till a while after I had been benching and deadlifting, once I started squatting I was squatting like 155-175

    now

    650/700 ish in wraps squat
405 bench is my pr/ should be hitting 430 soon

When I first started, I was so weak that when I tried to bench the 35lb dumbbells, my shoulder subluxed. That's right. My muscles could not even hold my shoulder in place with only a paltry 35lbs on it. I was really afraid of dumbbells for a long time after that.

I eventually got over my fear of dumbbells, and last week I set a PR of 6 reps with 130s.
Check my youtube channel, heavymetalboise. I'm the guy who didn't cheat on his reps, lol

I started working out about a year ago. I just started to squat seriously about 2 months ago and I just started deadlifting about 3 weeks ago. In August of 08 I was 212 pounds and extremely overweight at 14 years old. Now Im turning 16 in 4 months and I'm down to 178 pounds.

    I started at
    212 lbs
    Bench 125x5
    Squat 215x1
    Deadlift 225x1

    Now
    178 lbs
    Bench 205x1
    Squat 255x3 ATG
    Deadlift 295x4

How do you all think I would do in a junior powerlifting comp?
Btw this is my first post ever; long time lurker. All of you guys on this site started my motivation to lift.
