Cool episode brah but strong bull**** with the timelines play. I was re-watching last week's episode and I just have a question...
So Sayid killed the gangster guy at the restaurant, then spoke to Jin for like 30 seconds and gave him a razor to free himself. There was then some bull****ting around the guy comes with Sun and sees everyone dead. There's a struggle and Sun is shot and the other guy gets killed too. So Jin must then call 911 and they get there and take Sun to the hospital cause I don't know how else she would get there.
And Sayid was caught by Sawyer and Miles as he was trying to escape.
I think it would be safe to assume that in this time (when the above events were happening, with Jin and Sun) Sayid would head right back to the house and leave. I doubt he's stop for a ****ing taco or a gallon of milk
So we're supposed to believe that before Sayid could get home and leave
>all the stuff with Sun and Jin happened
>the ambulance was called, and when they got the call couldn't tell wtf was going on cause the operator probably didn't speak korean
>then when they got there and saw all the dead people called the cops
>the cops got there and saw what was up
>called the crime scene investegators
>processed the crime scene
>thought to go look at the ATM cameras across the street
>got a picture of Sayid and ID'd him by some CSI magic
>found out where his brother lives
>drove over there and managed to just get him before he escaped
You're telling me all this happened in the time it took Sayid to drive back to his brother's house and gtfo of Dodge?
And you could say that maybe Sayid's brother lives really far away, but unless I'm mistaken he is being extorted for protection money by this small time mobster so his business is probably in the same town and he would most likely live reasonably close. Say 30-45 minutes max from the restaurant to his brother's house.
Also all the **** Sun/Jin and Keamy happened a couple days after they arrived in LA. The stuff with Desmond meeting Hurley at the chicken shack and then running down Locke with his car happened a good week or so after they all arrived in LA, and yet Locke and Sun arrive at the hospital at the same time.
What the ****? Did anyone else think of this?"Belief is the death of intelligence. As soon as one believes a doctrine of any sort, or assumes certitude, one stops thinking about that aspect of existence."

heh your post just made me think of Cain and Abel. could it be possible that instead of Jacob and MiB being the equivalents of god and satan they are the equivalents of Cane and Abel.
Has this been mentioned before? any interesting theories about this?
from wikipedia:
"In the Greek New Testament, Cain is referred to as εκ του πονηρου. [3] In at least one translation this is rendered "from the evil one"[4], while others have "of the evil one."
also looking back from what i remember from the myth, God rejected Cains sacrifice to him by not allowing the "smoke" to rise or something to that effect and he became jealous of Abel.Last edited by Xero; 04-25-2010 at 07:52 AM.

Everyone do this.
Favorite character - Desmond. What word better describes this man than the constant. His episodes are consistantly great, his story arch is supurb yet at it's core simple. He's the everyman searching for greatness and then having to struggle with it when it's trusted upon him. Lost characters don't get better than him brotha.
Least favorite character - Kate. Cannot make up her mind, emotionally unstable. Looking to get a good nights sleep, pop in a Kate episode.Joining Sherdog.com doesn't make you an MMA expert, reading Saucehead's threads don't make you a player and if describe yourself as an "alpha male", chances are, you're not one.

fav character - Mr Eko
Badass mother****er. Great storyline. Death episode was one of my favorite episodes even though it sucked that he died. Was a great foil for locke (kept the faith even when locke lost it). Should've tagged ana lucia a couple of times.
least fav - Kate- Boring. Whiney. Constantly made dumb decisions and kept getting in the middle of **** when she wasn't needed. Story line had nothing to do with the ****ing show! Was only there for romantic interest.
no offense to Evangeline lilly. I'm sure she's a lovely person.

Favorite Character: Jesus that's a hard choice. Toss up between Jack, Linus and Richard. Jack in the series premier was just hands down epic, running around saving everyone he could. Ben pulling Sawyer into the cage, letting him know "we turned it off", then beating him senseless was hard as hell. Richard is just badass, especially when he had his band of others following him.
Least Favorite: Claire. Hate her.WINTER IS COMING
Next meet: October?

Favorite character - Desmond. Dresses well, cool accent, has the best back story of anyone else on the island, calls everybody brother, and his episodes always move the story of the show forward.
(honorable mention - Mr. Eko. Had a great story for the short time he was around.)
Least favorite character - Charlie. He's a whiny white knight *******. I cheered when he died and Desmond lived.
(honorable mention - Shannon. What a bitch.)

Favorite Character - Jack. The smartest person on the island. Has out-smarted numerous people throughout the show. Took the responsibility of taking care of everyone from the beginning, and while you can knock him for a few wrong decisions here and there, I didn't see any other characters stepping up to take his place. Unwilling to ever give up on anything important.
Honorable Mention: Desmond
Least Favorite Character - Sawyer. Basically Jack's nemesis. Arrogant and stupid. Only cares about himself and what's in his best interest. Would probably be the quickest to stab you in the back if given the chance. He can pretty much f*ck off and die for all I care.
Honorable Mention: Michael and CharlieLast edited by bbacn123; 04-26-2010 at 01:42 PM.
