I find the Pilot character so distracting from the plot, it troubles me deeply.

I'm watching lost, on the edge of my seat, completely engaged by the the story and boom, it's ric flair with slightly less mascara.

Lapidus rocks - the characters on Lost usually don't ask questions. Lapidus also doesn't ask enough questions, but at least he tries to address the answers to the unasked questions with no apparent motive, just using common sense.

i think jack will have the most important role out of all the candidates, like maybe he will make a final decision or something, he seems to be the only one who still believes in the island and there being a purpose, and i think hes learned his whole must fix everything mentality was a weakness of his and that he has matured the most as a character, i think jack is gonna do something epic

I'm thinking Jack will have to choose between his son or his purpose on the island. At some point, he will be awared, and he'll have to choose.

I was thinking that the skeletons were the human remains of Jacob and MiB. Since they were found with a black rock and a white rock. -Why would Jin and Sun have these?
This goes back to what I mentioned last week, about the "kids" we see popping up from time to time. I was thinking that these two kids -one blonde and one dark-haired- were the manifestations of Jacob and MiB when they were young and human. Remember the first time FLocke saw blonde kid with Sawyer? "You can see him?"

There's nothing that says MiB in human form was not a woman.

He can only take the form of dead people... And there's nothing saying that after centuries of living as black smoke that MiB would pass up a male body for something female.

If anything MiB seems to be obsessed with women, when it comes to Claire, Russeau... And we assume the as of yet unanswered "Baby Problem."

Im sticking with Rose and Bernard though. They've already settled in around the right time frame where they could die and decay. They know where the caves are and are likely to choose that area to live in. It just makes sense.

True, but who knows with this show. I just thought they put a lot of emphasis on Jin's line in that scene and it raised some foreshadowing flags for me.

Maybe I was too hasty saying they're the cave people but I have a feeling Jin is going to have to make a tough decision in the final episode concerning that promise.

Yeah he kind of reminded me of another character in the show we've seen before who visited all the Losties during their lives and affected them somehow.

Now that I think about it, isn't it weird that Locke asked Sayid to kill Desmond instead of doing it himself? Maybe Desmond has more in common with Jacob than we think.
