hi,
i need one singe grip exercise that has the best caryover to deadlift.
i read that holding the bar as much as possible on last rep of last set works. is this true? would you consider this the best exercise for the purpose? or you got other suggestions?

Revolving bar hangs (weighted if possible), or DB hold for time depending on your current level of strength.

I personally love doing weighted hangs for my deadlift grip. I aim for 45-60 seconds and add more weight until 45 seconds is hard again, then repeat and so on. A few weeks after I started doing these I realized I had a much stronger deadlift grip. I could nearly pull DO what I could with a mixed grip.aKa MalachiMcMullen elsewhere
