Standard Westside Vs. Westside for Skinny Bastards

Which template have you guys had more success with? My long term goal is to compete in powerlifting and bodybuilding. I switch off between bodybuilding routines and powerlifting routines every 3-4 months. I wanted to give westside a shot but wasnt sure which version would be better for mass and strength gain. Opinions?

How about pick one and focus on it for a while. Switching routines every three to four months and changing your goals constantly is a pretty good way to fail at all of them.

I would personally recommend that you start out with WSFSB...it's a template that minimizes the amount of programming you have to do, and programming Westside properly is really tough when you're new.

This x2. I was a victim of this and bad rest/too much partying. Now I do Westside for Skinny Bastards (again with better motivation and actually thought it out) and love it. In the past 3 monthes, there have only been 2 or 3 workouts I didnt add 5-10 lbs to my ME lift.

I'm guilty of that sh*t too, waiting for somebody to powder my nuts cuz I did 20 reps of whatever the **** on the bench. Big f*king deal. It is all relative." G Diesel

Thanks for the responses guys. Im going to give WS4SB a shot here soon. Im planning on sled work as well. Would it be better for me to do it after ME or DE days?

Should give you an idea on where you want to fit sled pulling into your schedule.
