alright, but then I have school in the morning and I work out at lunch time. Do you think it will still be alright for that 3 hour gap along being stored in the fridge for a day?

Why don't you make your shake after your workout? Bring the bottle with powder and then add water.

    This.

Hell I take a shaker cup with milk in it to the gym and my protein powder in a little baggie. Once I get out of the gym and back to my car, open the trunk, empty baggie into cup, shake, drink, done.

    This raises the question,

How long is it ok to have protein mixed before drinking? Theoretically could you make a gallon-worth of protein shake and keep it in the fridge to disperse accordingly?

    never thought about it!

I wouldn't want to. Just guessing here but some stuff probably degrades in water slowly

I premix 2QTs, enough for 2 days and leave it in the fridge. Wife was getting sick of me using all the glasses in the house for protein shakes. Got a 2QT container, premix everything and drink it straight outta the container.

Some of it does settle at the bottle after 4-5 hours but just shake it back up and you are good. There was once I let it go an extra day and it started to not taste as strong. So I would say 48hrs max in the fridge.

I freeze soymilk into cubes and mix my shakes in the AM with half liquid soymilk, half frozen soymilk. By the time I drink it a few hours later, the cubes are mostly melted and the whole thing is delightfully cold.

So, can i freeze my shake for half hour and drink then, without any nutritional deficit? It is not to a day for another, it is just some minutes.
