What muscles do power cleans work

quads, hamstrings, glutes, lower back, abs, obliques, traps, forearms, calves. I don't think there's much shoulder involvement, and if performed properly there shouldn't be much arm involvement. Maybe some lats as well, to keep the bar against the legs on the first pull.

i place them on my traps day but I really consider it a full body workout
you'll start the motion with a push by the quads and a pull with the hip drive...as the weight travels up to your neckline you're also pulling with the lats/roms/traps...all the meantime your core is keeping things in order...proper form is key and the MM connection is crucial, really gotta plan the lift out
a full clean is even more taxing, you end up completing a front squat in the process...mmmEat Clean Snatch & Jerk
