    30 minutes long enough

    i just did 3 exercises for my shoulders and 2 for my traps 4 sets of each.it only took about 35 minutes.is that still ok or should i stretch it out for an hour?

    I, personally, try to go as hard and heavy as I can, which for me requires a little longer rest periods. So, I probably would take a little longer than that. But, if you feel you got a good workout that's all that matters.

    Add more weight and see if it takes you longer You're recovering to quick during sets, but I guess it all depends on what you're trying to accomplish

    thanks for replying.but as far as working my biceps and chest it ususally takes me a solid hour

    Honestly, I don't worry about the clock or time when I go lift. I just do what I gotta do regardless. Sometimes, it may take an hour others 2.

    Shoulders normally dont take me that long either. Not many muscles up there. They get tired fast.

    I like to do High reps low weight for shoulders.

    The more lifting you can pack into less time, the more intense your workouts will be, and the better results you'll see. IMO, if you can't finish a session in under 60 minutes, you're either dicking around or your program sucks.
