    Can I take paracetamol post-workout?

Or any other painkillers for that matter? I've got a headache. I had a really good workout session at the gym and had lots of food available to eat afterwards so I'm hoping it went well, I don't want to ruin it by taking something that could slow things down ( I'm only a really tight target, everything has to go completely smoothly ).

I havn't needed to take painkillers at any other point since I started working out. Better safe than sorry. Is it fine?

It's about 7 hours since I had my workout session.

From my own experiences the only time i have headaches after the gym is because i didnt have a pre workout meal, so if thats the case just try eating something before working out. Thats just me.

IMO you should try really hard to not take pain meds after working out. Its been proven that taking pain meds such as tylinol and ibuprofen can slow down protein synthesis. It will take your myscles longer to recoup and such.

I mean, this is just a spontaneous headache, I usually don't get them after the gym. I was thinking 7 hours should be fine, but I thought your muscles take up to 48 hours to repair properly >_>

I think I might have to take some soon though, it's becoming pretty unbearable and is threatening to progress into a migrane.
