    Hip Abduction/Adduction/Thrust

Hey guys i've been reading the posts here for about 6 months but this is my first time actually posting. I heard about a few exercises and i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to do them, or offer me their opinion on the exercises. The exercises are

    1)Hip Abduction
    2)Hip Adduction
    3)Hip Thrust

Thanks for any help you guys can offer

I don't know about Hip Thrust, but the Hip Abduction and Hip Adduction are done on machines at your gym. It's the machine that mostly women use that looks like they are getting a pap smear.

I didn't say the exercises were bad. I was just trying to describe it. I used the machines to increase my hip strength to improve my squat.

My gym doesn't have either of those machines. Would it be safe to try and duplicate it using a low pully and one of those straps that attaches to the ankle?
