    450 deadlift

New PR Deadlift - 450 lb (I can definitely do more next time though but I didn't want to sacrifice form, my last PR was at 415. I wanna eventually get to 500 though)

Note: The plates are kind of random because my workout partner was repping with 2 plates and a 25, so we just started adding plates on the outside instead of having to remove them each time. Basically I maxed after 2 of his sets so he finished after me.

    Here's the link

    Enjoy

O and only positive comments or criticism please.

not always the case unless you're an egotistical douche.

you really need a better setup. lose the straps and make sure the bar is touching your shins before you're about to pull unless you wanna pull like magnusson and roll the weights towards your shins then pull up as they make contact. otherwise strong but could be stronger.

Some of us don't care to work grip for years before we go for a 400+ Dead Lift. What target muscle group does the Dead Lift work? The back, not the fore arm. That's my philosophy at least. You can't use chalk in any gym I've lifted in, so I'm straps for life on the Dead Lift.

You don't even really need chalk with mixed grip. Just wipe your hands with a towel so they're dry.

....? I don't believe you need to train grip for years to keep it up with your deadlift. I just use double overhand for warmups, and mixed for work sets. No chalk either, usually.

good lift mang, i was surprised how little you used your legs

strong as hell, but im sure with some coaching or training youd be able to get 500 sooner.

    repped.
