Losing fat vs a first time bulk?

Just curious as to when a good time to bulk is. My diet has been on point (though progress has slowed a bit). Been in the 235-240 range for a few weeks. Going to try adjusting calories after this week to less than 2400. Possibly 2200. Came a long way down so the thought of eating more (correctly within bulking reason) was a thought. But I figure I need to keep cutting at least about 20 more before I consider a bulk. However, I also read about people who do a mid cut bulk for a few months and then cut again.

Any suggestions? My current plan is to cut through summer and then late August, go on my first ever bulk (going to do it clean at about 3000-3200 calories).

    I am 6'6" 237 right now.

    Thanks in advance.
6'6" crew. Just trying to go beastmode every day at the gym. Tall/Fit and to finally go under 238.

    Favorite day: Leg Day
Worst day: Tricep/Chest (Long arms = bench sucks)

Nice plan. but i think there are little adjustment in your plan helps to achieve your goal.
Neglect all the fat and high protein foods items.
Just eat fresh fruits and vegetables.
Drink juices after every 2 hours to maintain energy level

I just don't get it. Horrid advice.

Anyhow, you have a firm grasp here. 3000 calories will be a slow bulk, almost a recomp. I wouldn't even consider it a bulk, more like eating and lifting at maintenance.
