1920-30s
1950-60s
Like wtf happened? What did they discover between the 30s and 50s that made them sooo much better? Like what did they change? I cant figure it out... These guys are like night and day, black and white... The 1950 bbs make the 1920-30s look like ordinary guys... I have a learning disability or in other words diminished intellectual capacity... So I can't figure this one out, but maybe someone else could?

Not much
Tom platz didn't start off with massive legs, his leg workout was insane, did about 35 sets on some leg workouts

He was a bodybuilder too according to the IFBB, he did do strength competitions but he also did wrestling, he started in strength though you are right...
Anyways I actually chose him because he was the biggest bb i could find of that era... The otherones looked terrible i figured im not gonna put the worst against the best, just best against the best

I'm half way through reading "Muscle Smoke and Mirrors"...a book that explains the History of bodybuilding (physique culture). It really explains the different ways that the old timers ate way back then...compared to today. They REALLY ate ALOT! Forget what these guys eat today...back then...tons of meat, eggs, raw milk, raw cream...
also it seems that the way people trained back then differed from today. They barely had barbells and dumbbells when this all started...
but, I would say the main difference would be the creation of dbol.I don't want to look good for 40..I want to look good for any age.

I used to like Mitch Hedberg. I still do, but I used to too.
