He wasn't. He was always someone who we were planning on replacing internally. Same with Beachy. Minor will get a deal eventually.

Although I think Medlen's career as a starter may be over now. Bullpen is his best chance. Feel bad for him. Good pitcher but just could never get the ball rolling.

On the flip side Justin Masterson has me kind of wondering about him. Why is he willing to accept a below market deal? He know something we don't? Just seems a little weird. Maybe all those sliders have taken a toll on him??

Sure, but many managers would be willing to take 30 homers 90 runs 100 rbis in the 8th round. Guaranteed he's one of the first 5 players taken, yet I'm offering up a 2nd rounder. Whoever ends up drafting him loses out.

Really not just an 8th round pick. Its who the person drops plus who they miss out on with a second round pick in a keeper league.

He obviously does have value. I'm not denying that. He's great in Roto when you spread his stats evenly. Just a killer in head to head. Never been a fan.

Totally understandable, no need to apologize. We all know it kills you not to draft your own team. Is there any way to accommodate you? Maybe push it a day or two if possible? Do you know when you'll be in port?
