Saalty, was the PM you sent to Chill Will an "inquiry" or an "offer"? If it was an offer then the deal is done since both managers have agreed upon this. However, if it was an inquiry then a trade between both of you was never set in stone.

Inquiry = saalty asked if chill was interested in a deal involving strasburg and the pick (e.g. "Do you have any interest in strasburg for your first rounder?")
Offer = saalty tells chill that he is down to give up strasburg for chill's first rounder (e.g. "I am open to giving up strasburg for your first rounder, just say yes and it's done.")

Doing trades trough PM's can get sketchy. Every single trade I've done it usually goes: A pm is sent inquiring about a trade, the person sends a pm back saying that trade is fine, then another pm is sent saying ok I'll announce the trade. That's the way I've always done it and it seems more official

Think the confusion came because you couldn't pm me back. Im glad your ok with it. We could of done a league vote if you wanted. Like I said before 2 spots doesnt make a difference to me. It actually benefits me more to have Stras on your team then to have JY with that kind of rotation. I just want to be fair.

Just gonna go on record now that we're close enough to the draft and let everyone know trading picks for a new keeper is quite possibly the dumbest thing you can do. Unless you are in a BigEasy type situation.

Pretty sure I proved last year it's better to have solid players top to bottom than to have a few big stars at the expense of depth to fill out your roster. Sh*t I was able to pick up Zobrist, Gordon, and Teixeira in last years first round. There's no doubt having so many picks helped a lot. Yes one of them didn't work out, but with the depth I had it didn't even matter (and I believe Teixeira was technically my original pick....so imagine if I hadn't had the others).

Trading picks trades away your depth. It's why Chrallmor is cool with "rolling the dice on Wacha". It's not really even a roll of the dice. It's added depth. And it's smart.

It's also why I never received a PM for Strasburg, even though I'm holding 2 relievers as keepers, you'd think I'd be a perfect target for the offer. But he knows I know the value of picks already. So he doesn't waste his time.


Now with that said Chrallmor had the same advantage I had last year (3 picks first round, like he does again), but he's a f*cking moron and still f*cked it up. So it will likely happen again to him. There is an execution factor of not being a moron that's necessary for this strategy to work.


Thought I'd share successful tips, coming from a should be 2 time champion if not for a Sunday Night Baseball scheduling stripping me of the first championship.

In b4 I'm obsessed with Chrallmor....lulz....maybe I am. Hard not to be obsessed with the choke job you get to witness each and every year. It's almost like, "can he really choke again even with how well he's set himself up?". And sure enough....the choke never fails.

Holy ****, this can't be real tea. Your jimmies must be so rustled that's it's made you go full retard. What is with your incessant need to make post like this? I swear this is the 4th or 5th one of these types of post. Do you seriously think that highly of yourself that you feel you need to inform and "educate" other owners in this league on how to play fantasy baseball? I hate to break the news to your way isn't the only way to put together a team. So what I think should happen is at the beginning of every year you can write up an A League Fantasy Baseball manual. Everyone in the league can read it so we all know the right and wrong way to play. Then before every transaction that's made we can confer with you to see if that's the bacon way of playing. At least then we wouldn't have to read post like these anymore.

Regardless of whether the tiebreaker was legit or not isn't even an issue. The fact that you still haven't won a championship straight up without that and I have must be killing you considering how much effort you feel you put to run this league while I'm just a warm body that fills a spot in it.....lmfao.
