Markakis was a bum tonight
0/3 with the bases loaded with 2 double plays. Please go."One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Braves down to their last strike, winning a game they absolutely had to win.
Freeman looking like Chipper up there killing the Mets. Down 0-2 in the count, tying run at 2nd bottom 9, worked it full then got a pitch to hit back up the middle
Williams Perez closing out games in extras instead of giving it to Cuniff or aardsma, lol
Das it mane
Big W today. Looking for Folty to come up big tomorrow"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. Just watched the ARod HR, 2000 RBIs for ARod
And 5 away from 3000 hits
Congrats to the most hated man in baseball (currently). Great player even if the rest of the world doesn't want to admit it"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. when your team puts up 8 runs in the first 3 innings and then you blow the lead by the 5th

#Bullpen
Although Folty wasn't looking great you gotta question pulling him at 75 pitches and expecting the bullpen to go 4 and two thirds with a 3 run lead.
That's asking an awful lot.
Would have run Folty to the 100 pitch mark no matter what.
On a side note, is it really that hard to find 2 decent relief pitchers.
Not good relief pitchers. Just decent ones that can kind of get an out. I mean the type of stuff being served up right now is not MLB baseball, plain and simple.
I knew as soon as they pulled Folty we lost. If Johnson or Grilli aren't pitching you're guaranteed a minimum of 1 run per inning pitched from the pen.
True to form, 5 runs in 3 2/3rds (since the bottom 9th wasn't needed)."One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. Also I kind of find it hard to believe we can't swing a deal for one of the Brewers RPs.
Hell I'd even take one from the As even though they have kind of struggled too. At least they have a history of success even if this year hasn't been great. **** it go get Ryan Cook. It'd be worth a shot.
Getting 1 stable RP would go a long way. Then hope Moylan has something left.
It really wouldn't take much. Not asking for all stars here, or Kimbrels even though it would be nice
2 average RPs and we would have at least 6 more wins. Bullpen has now lost 7 games THIS month.
It's June 14th for f*cks sake"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. Chill Will and I both had terrible weeks, neither deserved to win.. Hell I'll take a 7-5 W. Thanks for sucking a little worse than me this week.

Bacon's Week 11 Rankings
Abbreviated
1. SteezeFactory - Opens up a lead on Bacon. Now on pace to match Bacon's record setting season at a .663 PCT. Can he keep pace for an entire second half as well?
2. Saaltydog - Really hurts Cheese by dropping him further. Maintains big lead over Max.
3. bbacn123 - The good stretch is over and Bacon lost big to ricardo
4. Max Power Brah - Did what he needed to do against a good Chill Will and got a W. Kept pace with Chrallmor, but a long way to go.
5. Nodice123 - Tough blow in Nodice's surge, but hard to fault him losing to the #1 team in the league. Looks to get back on track with ricardo this week.
6. Chill Will 33 - Chill is back in the losing column. The silver lining is he gained ground on Bacon, plus he gets Mel this week.
7. SpeedDemon9 - Didn't lose to Bateman, so it would be unfair to drop him
8. TheBateman - Didn't win against Speed. The tie shows these two are probably right where they belong.
9. 2445ricardo - Gets a big win to jump back up to .500. Still doesn't play all of his pitchers. Got lucky to steal W's, but most weeks will forfeit W's and K's with his current strategy (and he's already forfeiting SV since no closers). Hard to win when you give away 3 categories most weeks.
10. CheeseSteak - Cheese is in a lot of trouble, and gets Steeze to make it worse. R.I.P. at the midpoint?
11. Pro-Shark - Pro got a win, the road to recovery begins. Gets BigEasy next and could enter the midway point on a high note with another good win. It's still not too late for the reigning champ, but the clock is ticking.
12. TheBigEasy - Even with the total collapse this team has looked more competent than the two below him since day 1.
13. Jyeatbvg - Really not surprised by the loss to BigEasy. Even with the worse record he's clearly a tougher opponent. Apologies to BigEasy for ever dumping him down to 14 and below Jyeatbvg and Mel (but you have to admit you were getting raped at the time I did it)
14. Mel - Still no wins. But Chill is struggling lately. Gonna take advantage?"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. No worries bro and I definitely agree. Not that I would be much better but getting some of these scrubs off the DL would be a plus.

You caught a lot of bad breaks the first month, then you fell apart for a month and got ripped like 11-1 every week.
You're probably better than Ricardo and Bateman too, but you're just in a huge hole right now
Pro is like on the same boat. I don't know why you two have such bad records, you've each got good players/built a decent team.
Those are the breaks I guess"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. Those of you struggling for pitching should pick him up
He really is a good pitcher. He might not K a lot but he gives you quality starts. Better than a lot of garbage some of you are playing each week"One day I won't be able to lift any more.
