I have been doing a steady cardio program and leg workout since I had shoulder surgery lately I cant lift upper body yet. I was trying to get back in shape by running and eating right. I run 4 miles before breakfast 5 days per week and eat 50% protein about 270 grams, 30% carbs about 150 grams and about 20% fat 40 grams or so per day. At first I was losing weight and body fat 10 lbs and 5% body fat in 6 weeks. But over the last 2 weeks I have lost 8 pounds and gained 3% of body fat. How is this possible? Any suggestions? I am thinking about adding another 50 grams of protein to increase my calories but now am worse than I was a month ago.
