    Hunger pains?

    I am currently bulking and my macros are:

    Protein = 220g
    Carbs = 380g
    Fat= 65g
    Calories= 3230

    I worked it out and when I cut the only thing I need to reduce is carbs to 225g. Now i've always heard hunger pains and muscle is a bad thing. Last year I was cutting and always had hunger pains and just pushed through it figuring it was suppose to feel like that on a cut. Ended up overtrained and losing all my muscle. And now that I'm so used to this bulking diet I know that if I skip just 30g of carbs I start to get bad hunger pains. So when I start cutting and dropping cals + cardio what am I supposed to do about the hunger? Its a natural reaction for me to think hunger pains = muscle loss if food not given.

    you get hunger pains from skipping 30g carbs? uhh..

    Slight exaggeration, point is, if I eat something like 2800 cals rather than 3300 I can tell because I get really hungry. So when one goes into a calorie defeict do you just have to bear the hunger until your body adjusts and hope your muscle is spared?

    well try eating more filling foods, with less calories. something like salad with some grilled chicken. eating a lot of greens will make you more full ... and it won't be many calories. sounds like your diet just needs to be readjusted a little bit.
