Don't take life too seriously. You'll never get out of it alive.
I reciprocate reputation.

So I have a lot of colognes that I own and don't wear... anyone looking to swap? I have:
Dior Homme Sport
Boss Selection
Gaultier2
Givenchy Pi
Paco Rabanne Black XS
Prada Amber (metal container)
Burberry Touch
^ Willing to part with any of those.
I'm open to any offers, but I'd prefer Bond No.9 offers. I'll do multiple bottles for one.

Okay brahs, i got a pretty good amount of money to spend on a bottle or a few cologne. I was thinking something from creed, either GIT or Aventus... what do you guys think?

L'Instant De Guerlain edt
This was a blind buy, so I felt like sharing my experience with misc, made concise as possible.
- Opening and First Spray -
Did not fall instantly in love with this since it smells slightly familiar. I don't mean this in the sense that it's not a nice opening, it just seems a bit 'old for me' almost what you imagine a classier 23 -30 year old would wear. Maybe the opening will suit more if I get shredded and dat jaw.
Definite woods and spice. Bold, but not obnoxious which I do like.
- 30 minutes on -
Opening has softened and this has grown on me tremendously within that time. Currently waiting for the patchouli and cedar to come in.
- 2 hours on -
It's quite sweet now. Slight patchouli - have to get right up close to where I sprayed to really smell it. Cedar is in as well. The scent has also gotten much softer. I can't smell any vanilla or coco that other seem to report at this point.
- 4 hours on -
Same deal as 2 hours. Died off at ~ 6.5 hours.Last edited by skint; 05-29-2011 at 11:33 PM.

Have you smelled either? I wouldn't blind buy a bottle as expensive as the Creed line. Go to a Neiman Marcus or Saks 5th Ave and smell them in store for free, or order some samples off of theperfumedcourt or TheFatMan (he has GIT, Aventus, and MI if I remember correctly) before you make such a big picture.
Both are amazing imo, but you may find you like one more than the other, or you may find another Creed you like even more. If you are going to try out some instore or order some samples I'd suggest looking at: Millesime Imperial, Aventus, Silver Mountain Water, Original Vetiver, GIT, and Erolfa
If you are going to go the route of blind buying tho, between the two I'd say go for GIT. I personally favor Aventus a little more, but the general consensus is GIT > Aventus.

Since I never wear OV, I tried to give it back to my dad who originally got it from frangrancenet, but he didn't want it and told me to give it away or something. So if anyone's interested and will make good use of this cologne I'll let it go for 110$ shipped. Lot number is A4010M01 and it's pretty much full.
Also have a 1.7oz 1 million that I've only used a few times that I'm trying to unload.Last edited by hyoton; 05-30-2011 at 06:38 PM.

Just ordered Jean Paul Gautier Classique X for my girlfriend's bday. Smells good man.
It's intended for fall, but it could pass as a summer frag as well.
She better get me Gears 3 or Play Intense for my bday.

Okay guys I smelt some Aventus today, and I love it. Was gonna buy a bottle from Creeds Boutique to be safe, but a friend told me about the site that might be cheaper, ParfumsRaffy, what do ya think?

GIT is probably my fav cologne, wear it all the time! If I put it on and go out for the night I can still smell hints of it the next day. I've only worn OV a few times but it seems to share similarities with GIT(maybe all creeds?) in being pretty strong for a lighter scent. I believe Thefatman has a pretty good review of the scent on his site also.

hey misc cologne crew, I'm going to a wedding this weekend and looking for input on what to wear. The weather is going to be upper 70's but the wedding and reception will all be indoors. My collection:
Acqua di Gio
Chrome
Lacoste- Essential
Leau D'issey
Cool Water
Only the Brave
Givenchy Pour Homme (Red)
Armani Code
Burberry Touch
Le Male
La Nuit De L'Homme
1 Million
I'm leaning towards 1 Million, YSL La Nuit De L'Homme, or Armani Code...input??
