i also dont want to have the more known and used colognes because what is the point of smelling nice to impress a girl if you smell like every other guy

i want to find obscure ones that not many people use or at least not super mainstream like AF Fierce and acqua di gio

problem is the popular ones are popular for a reason

if you find something that does indeed smell good then it will soon be used by the masses

unless it's say something by CREED, i.e. going out of peoples price ranges, or some other upper class designer brand stuff gucci etc

u can wear allure in winter, and issey miyake if u want....in winter they just wont project in the cold (i think allure is more woodsy tho, idk i just ordered thr 3.4 of it tho!!!!)

yeah, allure is good. i been wearing that most of the winter so far.

london is good man! the only burberry scent i like. strong pear/apple accords and a peppery-base. been wearing that in the winter, too. I picked up a bottle at TJ maxx for like...10 bucks. I recommend checking those places out before you order online. (Marshalls too)

i recently got a bottle for christmas...D&G The One...its aight i guess but it got me starting to think what other kinda colognes there are and i dont want to just smell the same all the time, i want to mix it up.

so i guess what im looking for is a nice everyday cologne and a nice cologne that i should only wear on special occasions when i wanna leave an impression.

i dont want to wear abercrombie fierce, armani code, acqua di gio and **** that EVERYONE wears...but designer brands are alright because i dont want to spend more than 50-60 on a bottle so i do realize they will be quite common.

i think out of the ones i tried (burberry brit, givenchy pi, diesel fuel for life, diesel only the brave) i settled on fuel for life, and i hear nothing but good things about it so i think ill pick that up.

you got any suggestions for me? Like a nice cologne that i only wear on special occasions...or a nice everyday

Go to the perfumed court.com and get a sample of decanted testers. Its the real deal and you can get a great variety for reasonable. Its only like 4-5 wears each but youll get the idea without wasting a ton of cash. reps welcomed.

haha u were just like me always changin my mind man, just dont feel rushed to buy it...and to be honest, cologne doesnt make THAT big of a difference...just pick a scent that matches your style/personality IMO..thats how i do it...generally go for classy and subtle scents because im fairly laid back and like to dress nice

Someone wanna aware me on the difference of winter and summer colognes? From what I understand more heat= more scent so the scent will be stronger during summer right?

So why couldn't you just use less of the same during summer?

yeah i went and sampled some other suggestions and out of the 12 so far ive sampled i liked fuel for life and burberry london as the things im looking for...i think theyll be a good start and as i learn more i can expand

normally fresh is for summer, but Bvlgari Aqua is a really good all year round fragrance..quality stuff too and u could get a 3.4oz tester for $30

bvlgari normally lasts about 8 hours, it projects well too but in summer u dont want something to project alot!
