I'm talking to her on the phone and she said she went 130mph in a 6 cylinder mustang!!! I told her that there's no way they have that high top end. What can i tell her she is convinced she was going 130mph in her mustang!! I'm like bitch u cant go that fast in that car!

Depends what year, a newish 6 cylinder mustang is probably capable of it. Not so sure about 90's-early 00's though

lol its possible, except for the fact the limiter installed on every model locks out at like 110 or something. Took the limiter off my friends rx7 and we hit 140 ish

nope.

They're RPM limited per gear (in both 4th and 5th, as well as 4th and overdrive in the auto tranny) to about 112 or 115 mph. Now, if the ECU was re-flashed or had a piggy-back that overode the stock rpm limiter then the car might be able to go to 130 in it's stock configuration. The gearing in my 98 T-5 tranny technically allows me to go past 200 (literally 200.23 mph) if I had the power to push it through the air.

i have a sixxer and i did 120-130 in it before and that was with the top down with makes it even harder. yes i have a girl's car, who cares, it does 130 easily. it's unmodded 01 with over 100k miles and it still runs hot when it needs to. would i race it? fuk no, i've had people try to race me and i'm just thinkin, wtf why would u try to race a sixxer, obviously not designed to race unmodded. i've seen some people mod some v6s and put 500horses on it but i just don't know why.

and...if the Mustang is not governed in any way, I'd say it's attainable going down hill..also, keep in mind that not all speedo's are accurate at that speed.

Really? I have had my 05 Impala SS buried past 140... I also have had my 07 sonata at about 143-145ish


Also you are telling me a Supra with a single turbo set up can't hit 180+
