Forging an elite physique with BodyForge
Welcome to my log. I will be supplementing with BodyForge at 2-3 scoops a day for the next couple of weeks. First and foremost, I want to give a big thanks to Neogenix for hooking me up and allowing me to do a log.
My goals are to keep adding LBM. I plan on competing in my next bodybuilding competition in May 2011. I had a good showing at my first show back in August, but I need to bring up my lagging muscle groups so hopefully BodyForge can help me get it done.
5'5 and weighing about 176 pounds right now, still relatively lean. I will get some before pics up soon. I will also be logging my workouts in this journal and giving updates periodically. I will be chiming in with video updates via youtube of my training, thoughts, etc. so stay tuned for that.

Detailed Writeup from Neogenix
BodyForge? is a highly active, performance based muscle-building system; designed to enhance the metabolic reactions within the body for increasing athletic performance levels while stimulating muscular growth. Through the enhancement of these vital processes, BodyForge? will have you performing like never before. Expect greater levels of muscular strength, prolonged sessions of endurance, with overall better recovery through the manipulation of these integrated systems. Plus, you'll also notice fuller, more dense muscle mass, accompanied by vascularity and hardness that is off the charts.
To maximize effectiveness, BodyForge? utilizes only ingredients proven in medical literature to affect these critical pathways, combined in the ideal quantities necessary for optimum results. Once these pharmaceutical grade compounds reach their target destination, they form a symbiotic relationship at the cellular level; producing a metabolic synergy that will forge your body like steel.
The BodyForge? proprietary ergogenic system contains:
Stage 1: The Pro-Endurance (beta) Matrix is a combination of the two most effective ingredients known for increasing high repetition strength, endurance, and stamina; they are, Citrulline Malate and Beta Alanine. When combined, these compounds are extremely effective at combating the metabolic conditions that typically lead to muscular fatigue.
∙ Citrulline Malate is composed of the amino acid Citrulline, bound to the Tricarboxylic Acid Cycle (TCA Cycle) intermediate Malic Acid. This combination offers athletes an excellent way to enhance performance levels by removing metabolic waste products like lactic acid and ammonia; while also stimulating the increased production of Nitric Oxide (NO), Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP), and Growth Hormone (GH).
∙ Beta Alanine is a non-essential amino acid that is rapidly converted into Carnosine once inside the body. Carnosine acts as a buffering agent, reducing the formation of excess hydrogen ions that are produced during intense training. This reduction lowers the acidity of the muscles, thereby delaying fatigue. Carnosine is also a precursor to the enzymes Nitric Oxide Synthase (NOS), which mediate the production of NO in the body.
Stage 2: The Advanced Volumizing Matrix includes a combination of Glycine, Creatine Alpha-Ketoglutarate (AKG), and Creatine Ethyl Ester (CEE). These three ingredients take muscle fullness and volume to a whole new level, while also supporting the enhancement of low repetition strength and endurance.
∙ Glycine is a glucogenic amino acid that is important for the synthesis of proteins, porphyrins, nucleic acids, and bile acids in the body. It is also needed for the construction of RNA and DNA, and other amino acids. Glycine supplementation can improve glycogen storage, Creatine production, and GH levels; and when combined with Glutamic Acid and Cysteine, it forms glutathione, a major liver detoxifier and free radical fighter.
∙ Creatine AKG is Creatine bonded to Alpha-Ketoglutaric Acid. This bonding greatly increases the cellular uptake of the Creatine molecule, while also supporting energy production as a TCA Cycle intermediate. In the presence of ammonia, AKG forms Glutamic Acid, and then Glutamine. This formation reduces the buildup of nitrogenous waste product, while also promoting nitrogen balance within the body.
∙ CEE is Creatine molecularly modified by the esterfication process. The esterification increase Creatines lipopholic abilities, making it use fat more efficiently to permeate the cell wall and exert its effects upon cellular function. Due to its superior makeup, CEE increases strength and endurance without the bloating, cramping, and non-responder issues often seen with lesser Creatines.
Stage 3: The Antioxidant Support Matrix contains ingredients that are highly effective at reducing oxidation within the body; they include, N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC), Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA), and Ginkgo Biloba. By reducing oxidative damage, this matrix can enhance both performance and recovery, while also promoting general health and vitality.
∙ NAC is a conditionally essential metabolite of the sulfur-containing amino acid Cysteine, which is an intermediary in the conversion of Cysteine into Glutathione; the body's primary cellular antioxidant. NAC has also been shown to help reduce levels of fatigue and improve the ability for muscle contractions during exhaustive exercise.
∙ ALA is a potent antioxidant, which in contrast to other antioxidants; is both fat and water soluble, enabling it to exert an effect in almost any part of the body. ALA promotes increased glucose uptake and utilization, stimulates blood flow by enhancing the activity of the Endothelial Nitric Oxide Synthase (eNOS) enzyme, supports energy production, and also functions as a cognitive enhancer.
∙ Ginkgo Biloba is a well-known botanical, which has three main effects in the body. It improves blood flow by increasing eNOS activity, it protects against oxidative cell damage from free radicals, and it blocks many of the effects of Platelet-Activating Factor (PAF). This can enhance cognitive abilities like memory, concentration, and mental alertness, while also inhibiting stress related cortisol secretions.

It depended on how I used it. If I was using it for just a stim free preWO, I'd do 3 scoops preworkout. But if I wanted the full effect of bodyforge and getting some sick pumps, I do 2 scoops preworkout then 2 scoops in the evening, 6-8 hours later or so.
I loved mixing my late dose of bodyforge with watermelon xtend, one of the best tasting combos out there.o_O

yes, I have noticed this too, Mine is at the halfway point and I don't really over scoop. unless the scoops are over sized lol. i love the stuff, but it doesnt last long useing it 4 scoops a day. i think it would be best used postwork out 2 scoops stacked with a good preowkrout.

It should last about 18 days @ 4 scoops a day.. We do sell it by volume and match the scooper size each batch so the serving come out correct, but there is some settling that can happen increasing density. I think by the end you should be right around the 18 day count.
x2... Stack it with the pre it was made to be stacked with, CryoShockNeogenix // neogenix.net

BODY FORGE...
Still getting some nice pumps on this product. Pumps are different than NO products...it's hard to describe...Focus is good on this - especially for being a non-stim. Strength seems to be good, but the biggest thing I've noticed is an increase in endurance in the gym. Esp today...did a crap ton of sets under 60 mins. And got home and felt like I could go again...
Libido still up...and just overall good mood. Plus, this stuff tastes awesomeIf you want it bad enough, you'll find a way.
