    when to lower cals?

    i haven't hit a weekly plateau yet but my loss is slowing a bit, should i wait till i have 1-2 weeks with no weight difference before i drop cals?

    Guess it depends what you weigh now, and how many calories you're eating now. Also your TDEE

    That's a very slow pace. My preference would be to lose faster and get cutting done with sooner (1-1.5 lbs a week). But if you're happy with the pace, rock on, at least you're losing.

    Don't measure with any shorter timeframe though, 3 weeks is pretty well the minimum to truly determine a plateau, due to water balance fluctuations.

    Yes, if you go a week or two without losing then lower calories by 200-300 and then check weight again after another week. Water fluctuations could also be playing with your weight a bit.

    i weigh myself daily in the morning and so far the lowest i have weighed was 168.8

    but i only go by the weight i weigh in on saturdays which was 170 this past saturday

    Do you have a deadline? Or are you just casually trying to shed fat? If you in fact do have a deadline, it may be better to be proactive and not reactive. If you don't have a deadline, and have plenty of time, I see now real reason in dropping calories until you hit a true plateau, which is defined usually as 3 weeks with absolutely no change.

    To slow IMO should be at least 3lbs. Drop carbs by 25 gs or do 1 day of liss cardio for 30 mins
