exfoliating to tighten skin?

so im trying to finish bring out my abs and iv noticed after i use my exfoliating scrub brush my skin feels tighter. is this something i could use in conjunction with my training and diet to help?

A little off the subject, but I notice the same thing when scrubbing my self with seabreeze using a cotton flat pad. Turns me a little red, but I swear it does appear you look tighter after. Maybe it's helping pull water out of some place and evaperats it from the alcohol.... Don't know .

I tried it a few days out on half my upper body, left it for an hour and it did nothing but stink and that's using the Canadian version with Biodyne.
