What is the best way to gain trap size

I'm off to California with a group of friends for over a week. I havnt worked out in about 8 weeks because of a broken hand. It's all good now but because of the time I havnt worked out for I have lost some size and with the trip been less than 4 weeks away I want to try and make some gains. But anyway on to my question. I really want to increase my trap size because in my opinion they look impressive to have, I know some exercises, shrugs, upright lifts(I think they are called) etc. But I want to know the best way to train them as I have read mixed statements and just want to get them as big as possible in the time I have! So what would be the best way; 3-4 times a week with 8 reps heavy weight or to failure or, every day of the week to failure, you get the idea.
    Thanks

And I posted a picture of a bear trap. What's left to learn?

Honestly, having big traps looks cool, but having beg delts and upper pecs really are what make them stand out and look impressive IMO.

Wow, some people found that difficult... All I wanted to know was if I would gain better results from doing it everyday or around 3 times a week.

u dont need people to tell you that, just train and follow how your body feels. I train 3 times a week, i know someone who does 5 and still gets great results.

    Agreed.

And i have found Deadlifts to be the BEST trap builder for me (non-isolation)

But other than that i love dumbell shrugs, and my gym has a shrug machine ("Hammer Strength" - brand, i believe) and i love to slap a bunch of 45's on there an go at it

    both excersises do 6-10 reps.
    Reps appreciated. I'll tag u back 100%.

I hate people who leave weights laying around everywhere....
