actually i may know what have happened. Your rep power is stored in the server, but the server can only store up to a certain number depending on the memory allocated to store the points i.e if stored as an integer can go from -32768 to 32767. There is generally a mechanism that if you go over 32767 in the example above, you will go to -32768 to prevent overload. Your rep power in this case is stored in a much higher register but you have gone over. Bad luck brah you have reached max rep points but gone a bit over the top

EDIT: If the server really works like this, then being super negged may end up with max rep power lulz. There may be a protection that negative cannot go positive though.
