the way he is traveling at the momment he will just fall short.
he could break it in 2013
that is 4 more olympias...
IF jay has reached his absolute peak or has one year left in his absolute peak he will need to come top 5 3 more times.
ronnies "peak" was 2003-2005
the absolute peak for a bodybuilder is short lived.
im guessing Jay will fall short by a year or two on this record.
IF he keeps going he will probably get it... but hey there is more to life. if one expects to have a life after bodybuilding it might be a good idea to take it easy after decades of abuseI wish it lasted, forever.

wtf are you talking about...The only reason Ronnies peak was short lived was b/c of the nerve damage he would still be winning Olympia's if that didnt happen. Oh and everyone was saying Jay peaked back in 2001-03....remember that? Come on with the peak bull**** its not a science we dont know how long he has.

it is a science... everyone is different and some guys have shown incredible longevity in this sport such as Vince Taylor.
Jay has time on his side and hopefully he can keep producing his 09 olympia look.
the thing is pro bodybuilders seem to have an absolute peak max of less than 5 years and its not usually related to age but rather wear on the body (how long the body has been training 100% consecutively year after year)
these guys are mortal and they cannot sustain bodies like this decade after decade...
jay is approaching 2 decades of training and juice use which generally means that they are at the tail end of their career. lets sit back and watch i mean i would love for him to stay at this peak for the next 5 years but that would be highly highly unlikelyI wish it lasted, forever.

shawns will be broken first
you only have to be in the top 5 best bodybuilders in the world, i say only coz you have to be number 1 for 8 years to beat ronnie/haney"If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got."
""STATS""
Squat - 385lbs
Deadlift - 473lbs
Bench - 286lbs x 1

The poll is bad because as soon as you have won 8 'O's you probably have 11 top 5 finishes already...
Some people say that bodybuilders have only a few years and their peak is short... I think this isn't true at all... Most bodybuilder's retire in their late 30's or in their early 40's....So their career is mostly 20 years long which is far more than in other sports like soccer for example where a career mostly lasts around 12 - 15 years.... Tennis careers are even shorter (10 years).
This is because the body is far more likely to remain his muscle mass around the age of 40 than to have the same speed and mobility and endurance that you need for soccer or basketball...
Furthermore drugs like GH even help to make a career longer.Ronnie KING Coleman, the greatest bodybuilder of all time.

I think one can't really define Ronnie's peak because he brought a different physique every year. The easiest thing to say is that Coleman's peak was from 1998-2005. Every year was different but except may be 2 showings every package has to be considered one of his best.
I think 2003 was his absolute best which means that he reached his peak somewhere in the middle of his reign...
He had it all in 2003. 2004 he was at his biggest whereas in 1998/1999 he was at his best conditioning wise. 2005 was the best combo with size/conditiong + aesthetics...Ronnie KING Coleman, the greatest bodybuilder of all time.

thing is even though 98,99 ronnie seems to be perfection he was still alot smaller than 03
98,99 ronnie next to 09 jay would be close but jay could take it by overwhelming ronnie with size....
where as 2003 ronnie would S hit on 09 Jay
ronnie didnt need to get any bigger than 99 he looked awesome.
injuries tend to occur more frequently with age and put bodybuilders out of commission, as well as cause them to fall ill etc.
Pro Bodybuilding is not Healthy. if you do not have any doubt that Jay will last another 4 years then the thinking is a little wishful IMOI wish it lasted, forever.
