    When to take creatine and how much?

    I recently purchased optimum nutrition's pre-load creatine complex. It contains 10g creatine, 70g "fast carbs" (mostly dextrose), 3g glutamine and taurine, and 2g BCAAs. It says to take it on both training days and non training days. This is my first time taking creatine and i was under the impression that you were only supposed to take it before a workout. Should i be taking it everyday? And is 10g the right about for someone who weighs 160 lb? Thanks in advance.

    Do as the directions say. 30-60 mins pre workout and on off days it says between first and second meal, but really doesn't matter as long as you get the creatine in your system. I prefer mornings the best because I tend to carry on with my day and may forget to take it later.

    And in the ingredient profile I'm reading it's only 5g of Creatine Mono per serving (1 scoop).

    I would do half a serving pre workout and half post workout.

    No need to take on off days IMO.
