New Equipment coming

Time for new equipment to put me into the start of a basic home gym.

I have on their way:

Ironmaster Superbench and Leg Lift

BodySolid Power Rack GPR378 (new style safety arms)

BodySolid 255lbs steel quad grip Olympic plates

Hampton 6ft Olympic bar

The Body Solid rack and weight plates were picked up from Fitness Factory and I got what I think is a good deal that included shipping. $661

My equipment for my small and tight room is all ordered.. Now the waiting begins.

truly no room for the 7' because 8" on each side is not enough room for me to put weights on. My room is cramped and I need it however it is 51" between collars so it will fit the rack no issue and wide enough for squats.

This is like Christmas but worse.. At least you know what day Christmas is, with this equipment ordering, I have found out most online vendors drop ship and that means you are at the mercy of the manufacturer or clearing warehouse thast stocks the equipment.

Ironmaster - took my order yesterday and shipped out yesterday!!!!! A+
Fitness Factory - took my order and is supposed to ship out today as they have everything in stock at their store.
PFC Fitness - still waiting for a tracking number but it is only 2 days since I ordered.
Fitness Equipment and More - Canceled something from them and they have to wait to get cancellation from the drop shipper before I get confirmation. (huh?)

Asking the question, Do you have in stock and ready to ship today? is practically worthless since again, most all vendors drop ship.

Iron Master does not.. They Rock! A+
Fitness Factory does but has most items in stock... A-
The other two.. we'll see. Don't take me wrong, drop shipping is fine but it needs to be MUCH faster then it is. (generally speaking)


So back to waiting..

Fitness factory are the makers of Body Solid and Powerline lines. If they don't have them in stock, it will be hard to find other places that have them in stock.
I believe that PFC also stocks everything but I'm not 100% sure on that. I have wanted to stop by their place in a long time.

How did you get that kinda deal? Unless I'm looking at the wrong place, fitness factory sells the 378 for $599.00?

EDIT: Apparently I can't read. Says it comes with a 300 lb set.

$599+115 shipping = GPR378 and free weight set

The weight set is the olympic bar and 255lbs that sells for $359


So I I asked to see if they would do the following:

$599 GPR378
$115 shipping
$306 for 255lbs of the steel weights
-$359 discount (which is what the promo was)
Total: $661

Not sure they will give this to everyone but they did for me and I am very happy!

Now that one of the posters in this thread said Fitness Factory owns Bodysolid, it makes sense on how they could do this deal.
