    As I continue to have a calorie surplus to gain muscle...

    Will I lose any of my bodyfat ( love handles) or not, since the muscle burns fat quicker?


    On a side note, a personal trainer told me to change routine every two to three weeks, isnt that too frequent?

    if u are on a calorie surplus then u will not be losing fat. Most personal trainers are stupid, dont listen to their crap.

    you might lose fat and gain muscle. I didn't, most people don't. Muscle doesn't burn fat, the more muscles you have the more energy you burn.

    2-3 sounds way to frequent, stick to what works, change your routine if you feel you are plateauing
