Big squat @ teen 165

My training partner just did

628-375-528 @ Teen 165!!!!!!!

He got Best Lifter in yesterday's APF meet!!

Totaled 1526 and just missed a 413 bench too. Qualified for APF Senior Nationals!

This can be depressing? It IS depressing! Well for me. Congrats on the kid.

This is my 3rd year of (continuous) lifting and my bench is only 250, my deep squat is 300 lbs. I need to start hitting the roids like a mule or something

No it's not, it's INSPIRATIONAL. If a 17 yr old at 165 can squat that much then we all have work to do! He squats that much because he wants it more than anything- he has a definite goal and desire to squat 700.

So quit slacking! Myself included!!!

WORK ETHIC

Hayward works harder in the gym than anyone I know. His workouts are intense and volume-driven.

your absolutly right, i just have to uhm squat 2.5 times what i squat now in lets see 6 months

anyway i'm not weak for my age/weight proud of myself as it is

I went from 315 to 500 in 6 months. Hayward was squatting ~450 6 months ago. It can be done.

Cool I get a copy of his workout? I just would like to see what he does. To get any idea. I work alone so I don't always get the best feedbacks about workouts.

I imagine he has to have a pretty damn good work ethic to pull that weight. I plan to be up there one day.
