Cutting your Body Fat in half! 17% to 8.5%

I have been busting my A$$ this past year! July I was 290 and currently I am 260. 42in waist to a 37 in waist. XXL to XL. Im happy with the results but not satisfied until I chop my BF% in Half. My LBM is 219lbs!

    My Question!!!!!

What is the best plan for me to reach my goal? Cut or Grow?

Odds of your LBM being 219 are there but I'm sure you're not 219 pounds of LBM.

I have to add that you should probably cut. Especially if you're 219 pounds of LBM, that's pro levels of lean body mass. You'll be winning the Olympia most likely.
"Everyone thinks they're on their way to single digit body fat as soon as they see a blurry four-pack in the right lighting.Your final body weight at 5-6% will be a lot less than what you think.Talk to me again when you get in contest shape." I'd be willing to say that 95% of people on this forum accomplish nothing in years, don't be one of those people. It's sad, they seem to have the knowledge many don't but can't utilize it.

Well, most people are far off in their guesses at body fat, even in their attempts to measure it accurately. You can look at his pictures and see he appears to be more than 17%.

I like the picture where he's pulling his fat down to reveal the outline of his abs as well.

Let's say he IS 219 pounds of lean body mass. Then add another 10% of body fat to that 219 pound frame, so he'd be around 240pounds at 10% body fat correct? That is one big dude for that level of body fat even at 6' 3''.

MY BF% is only an estimate. I am 6'3 260lbs, my waist is 38, my neck is 18.25.

I could easily be at a higher % of Body Fat. But I don't care about where I start, its more about were I finish. I am a big guy I want to lean out but keep my strength.

    Super attitude! And tremendous progress!

In looking at your photos, you really need to drop another 30 pounds if you want to be on your way to a lean, big, guy. If you want to keep your strength, you can do that too. You just need to really keep your diet in line for both goals....plenty of protein...

Have you been tracking calories? Maybe you haven't and now you are going to rein things in to continue making progress.

You should probably start to figure out what you're consuming. Can I ask what happens on Saturday and Sunday?
