I agree, supps are useful, but are seriously overrated by un-educated gym users and can only aid muscle growth to a certain extent. I used to think they were the only way to get big, then I did a little research and realised there any many more important factors.

My Take On It
I think to many teens at a early age supplement way to much!
I take some supplements but only because of the time I save.
I Must Admit myself I supplemented pretty heavily 2 years ago. What did I get from it? Nothing at all. Very little gains, and a **** load of money spent FOR NOTHING!!
Supplement companies are pretty much a joke in their advertising, and don't get me wrong some supplement companies are legit but most are pathetic. Take Muscle Tech using 2009 Mr. Olympia Jay cutler as there poster boy. Really?! The roid freak that he is didn't get to being a monster taking Nitrotech and celtech or hydroxcut Hardcore. Once people (mostly teens) realize that supplements aren't the key to success at such an early age you will bring your body to a whole new potential.
Let's me give you an example
Protein Powder: Food Alternative=Chicken Breast
Preworkout Shakes: Alternative=Cofee
Multivitamin: Alternative=Food, Veggies
Remember all supplements are made from compounds that derive from food/plants.
So why not get the vitamins/protein from the direct source?
My biggest gains were made once I was eating PURE FOOD. Chicken Breast, Sweet Potatoes, Whole Wheat Pasta, Oatmel
All In all, a bit of a read but....
Supplement Less, Eat More Healthy Foods= Noticeable Gains.:: NASM Certified Personal Trainer ::

Protein and multi's? I don't think so. If you have a small appetite like me, it can be nearly impossible to get the proper amount of protein to gain muscle.
Pre workout supps? I'm beginning to think so. I took 3 scoops on NO Xplode today with 13 ounces of water and didn't feel any different. Right now I'm just taking it for the sake of not wasting money.
On another note, anybody down to critique my routine?
Back - Heavy:
Warmup set of chins/pulls
Deadlift - 1 set of 8, 1 set of 6, sets of 5 till 5RM reached.
BB or DB rows - Same as above
4 Sets of pulls/chins till failure.
Chest - Heavy:
Warmup set of pushups/dips.
BB Bench - Same as deadlifts
DB Incline Bench - Same as above.
DB flys - 4 sets of 8-10
2 sets of weighted dips with 25lb plate x12
1 set of body weight dips x15-20
Shoulders:
BB Shrugs - Same as deadlifts
DB Overhead Press - Same as above.
BB Upright Rows - 3-4 sets of 8.
DB Raises - 3x10
200 Jumpropes
Legs:
Squats - Same as deadlifts.
(Sometimes) Leg Press 3x8
DB Lunges 3x10
Seated Calf Extension - 3x10
200 Jumpropes
Back/Biceps - Light:
Warmup chins/pulls
Cable Row - 3x12
Lat Pulldowns - 3x12
Preacher Curl - 3x8
Reverse EZ Bar Curl - 3x8
Hammer Curl - 3x8
Chest/Triceps - Light:
DB Bench - 3-4x12
BB Incline Bench - 3-4x12
Cable Crossovers - 3x12
Skullcrushers - 3x8
CG Bench - 3x8-10
Tricep Dips - 2x30 w/ 25lb plate, 1x30 body weight.
Abs are done every 2-3 days. I usually rest 1 day during the week and take weekends off.
I try to hit every body part at least a little bit during the routine. Traps/legs hit by deadlifts. Anterior delts hit on incline bench, posterior delts hit on rows...

i'm in, i like the first post too, cool image
you put 'everyone one' though, dunno if you can still edit?
I also broke a PR today! deadlifted 412lbs, felt like I could have hit more like 425 though. Breaking PRs is the best feeling you can get from lifting IMO, especially when you set the weight back down and just know that you nailed the form on the lift. I was grinning like an idiot in the gym lol
seriously, the best username in the misc. srs. lol every time....
Sign me up.
Supplaments overrated...In General they are.
Everyone thinking i will buy some go to the gym and become huge.
But if you understand their Values like we do then they can be very useful for aiding the process of getting big."This is my body. And I can do whatever I want to it. I can push it. Study it. Tweak it. Listen to it. Everybody wants to know what I'm on. What am I on? I'm on my bike busting my ass six hours a day. What are you on?"
