"Under her bill, marijuana would be sold in Washington state's 160 state-run liquor stores, and customers, 21 and older, would pay a tax of 15 percent per gram."

lmao @ last paragraph
State lawmakers, he said, need to ask themselves "if they believe we really will make all that revenue, and even if we did, will it be worth the suffering, the loss of opportunities, the chronic illness or death that would occur?"
brb suffering, losing opportunities, getting chronic illnesses and dying because I smoke weed

does every reporter who makes a weed pun in an article, or title of an article about legalization think he's being clever?

I feel like Florida would be one of the next ones to legalize, even if for medical purposes only.

Wish it was legal in ky, but if it was legal would you be paying more than you do illegally?

Too bad this will be bad news for everyone who smokes. It will follow the same lines of alcohol: Illegal to produce unless certified, driving while under the influence will be illegal, sale to minor illegal, regulated THC content. Not to mention the incredible hike in price form tax. LOL you thought $50 an eighth was bad, try $80-100.

I really do not understand why weed would be legal in one state, but not the rest. Makes no sense whatsoever.
If they can make it legal in one state, which means it does no harm and not in another is complete bs. If I got caught with it here, and it was legal in Washington I'd raise hell.
It's just a plant, it just grows and if you happen to set it on fire...... it has some side effects!
