when I saw it my initial reaction was holy crap am I squatting high? But I've never received even a single red light and judges have told me I squat several inches below parellel and this didn't feel any different so I guess it's just a bad angle. Next time I'll get it from the side. But I will let the internet judges crucify me in the meantime
Reverse Band deficit deadlifts felt good though!

Really hard to tell from that angle like you said... Couldve been high? Could've been good? Use a better angle! Last rep looked good though. Good luck!
I'm pretty sure they were good, depth has never been a problem for me. Next time I'll get a better angle. Had the wife filming... we'll blame it on her

Good choice, like I've always said "When in doubt, blame a woman". It's worked out well for me so far! What are you openers? And what kind of numbers are you hoping for?
probably going to open up with around 525 on squat, 330 on bench, and 655 on deadlift. Not sure what that equates to in kilos as I haven't done the conversions yet.
would really like to hit 580-590 on squat, 350+ on bench, and 710-720 on deadlift depending upon how i feel

Bout 240 150 297.5
Ninja conversion skills = more friends at international meets.
1st rep looked 50/50 but i'd say parallel
2nd rep there's no doubt that was parallel just look at the position the bar is in compared to the rack on this attempt
your squat is freaking strong as hell, especially given your leverage for it and your weight.
600+ at raw unity brah?
thanks. I'm really pleased with it considering I have never been a strong squatter in years past. Really just learning the technique has made all the difference. Hell in february i did 520 at my first meet with knee wraps LOL! So I'm 65 lbs heavier and no knee wraps. Pretty freakin' pleased with that.
I may have to have a go at 600. That would be ****ing amazing

knees are on the bench... if they weren't how would i stay on it LOL?
Hehe, I meant kneecaps - just wondered if you were pushing against the bench with the top or your quads or something sneaky, I'll just assume I'm doing it right, but suck at it horrifically

99% of people suck at them horrifically. When i started them i couldn't do a single one.
I'd wager than 98% of bodybuilders couldn't do one and over 80% of powerlifters couldn't do one based on my experience. My suggestion is to do negatives resisting as hard as you can and use your arms to help you back up during the concentric

It's AMAZING how different a real GHR is from the way that Layne has it rigged up. The way Layne is doing it is so much ****ing harder, it's not even close. When I was doing those in my crappy commercial gym for a little while, it felt like my hams were literally going to tear off of the bone with each rep.

Yer, that's exactly what I've been doing after I saw the last vid of you doing them on a bench/lat pull down. There's no way I can do full rom concentric like that currently. I just get a bit of sand in my vagina when I feel my kneecaps click and move around - I'll dust it out and continue

that 585 looked great, you should go something like 550, 575, 600 at RUM imo
i gotta try those ghrs myself too, we dont have one at my gym, its the one piece i wish we had
yea I was thinking opening up with 545, then 584, then 601
might as well leave it all on the platform. Usually I open up with something I can do for a triple, then my 2nd attempt is something I've PR'd in the gym, then the 3rd attempt is a new PR. So the progression fits

thats exactly how you should set up attempts, looks like youve got a good plan. better imo to go for broke than to get a good 3rd in and go home saying you should have gone higher and i had more in me.
