ITT .. Things you witnessed at the gym first monday of the new year.

Things I seen

-People I will never see again after 2..3 weeks
-More wifebeaters then I could count.
-Everyone was training biceps.
-Groups of Girls sitting on benches texting / talking .. little to no workout.
-One fat dude besides me putting in srs work was actually proud of him his buddy came up complaining that he wants to go home and fat guy said when Im done..Im not giving up this time. Hope hes srs guy was 400pds easily busting his ass on the elliptical best he could but he kept going for a strong hour

all the above plus - a guy decked out in complete nike gear. Nike shoes, socks, shorts, shirt, wrist straps - all brand new... and sunglasses. He wore his sunglasses in the gym. He was so cool I couldn't even concentrate on my own workout and I had to leave.

I walked in the gym today and there was almost nowhere to move. Thank God nobody squats.

top it of I walk in and seen ALL the staff sitting around filling out applications with people, there had to be 10+ people signing up (went at 430pm) and i had to excuse my way through them to get by..

This is awesome! As many people that fall off the wagon in 6 weeks (some studies say 75%) "the fat dude" has made a decision to change his life. yeah the New years folks crowd up the gyms but show them a little support and who know they may make it a lifestyle. We all started somewhere...
