w/ Whey & Natty PB
Meal 2 (10:30am)
1/2 Grapefruit
5 oz Shrimp
1/2 cup Broccoli
6 tsp natty pb
Meal 3 (1:30pm) PWO Meal
1/2 Grapefruit
whey with water
6 tsp Natty PB
Meal 4 (4:00pm)
5 oz Shrimp
1/2 cup Broccoli
6 tsp natty pb
Meal 5 (6:30pm)
5 oz. Lean Red Meat
1/2 cup Broccoli
6 tsp Natty PB
Meal 6 (10:00pm)
Not sure yet.
It felt totally awesome to be back in the gym doing cardio. I thought I would have a hard time with the treadmill but it was like I never took a break.
I did a few other exercises just to test my strength and how my arm would do. Everything felt great and I don't think I've lost much strength.
Any ideas on what to have for my last meal before bed?
Brian

Last meal, protein shake or cheese, cottage cheese, glass of milk...
just my $0.02
Hey it's my favorite stalker.....hehe!!!!
The PB was something that got started when Derek Charlebois put me on the CHA diet back in Sept. of 08. I just like Natty PB better than almonds. Does that answer your question?
As far as the last meal, you might want to go back and look at my picture from this year and tell me if I really need to have a glass of milk before I go to bed. I'm a chunky monkey, although a glass of milk would hit the spot, just don't want to get fatter.

lol, ok, i'll have to think without monsters behind me... lol. Milk has fat true but a ton of protein and is pretty natural. PB has a ton of fat and eh..mediocore protein.
ex: PB 1 TBL 95 calories 8g fat 3 carbs 4 protein
you actually ate 855calories 72gfat 27carbs and36g protein. of PB alone.. did it fill you up or satisfy you enough to sacrafice that many calories and fat? You could have a glass or 2 of milk 260 cal 10fat 26carb 26protein (and that is 2%)...???? or even oatmeal (less protein in it)
point being what are you trying to do? PB is a great TREAT. If you eat it to "curb" your appitite, maybe there is something more filling that will be less. or just ignore me totally, i get use to that... lol
The count down.....

Ok lets see. I eat around 32 grams of Smucker's Natural PB, it has 200 cals, 16g fat, 6g carbs, 7g protein. I eat it for the good fats in my diet. According to Scivation's diet that I'm on this is what they look at (the fat) not the protein or carbs. I'm supposed to get around 15 grams fat per meal and this is how I get it. Does that make sense now?
I'm doing a cut and this is what I did last time when I lost 33 lbs in about 5 months.

And what rule was that? Hey I'm open to any suggestion so please don't feel like you can't come in here and offer up some wisdom.
We can talk about anything here. I'm here to learn as much as I can. So talk away!!!!

Personally I would go with reaching a goal but that's just me!!!
I've almost reach my goal of going to the bathroom 12x since lunch thanks to all the water I'm drinking.

ok if you are already on a specific diet, formulated for you. I'm not going to step in. try it, if it works great if not, change.
In americans diet, we have enough fat from our food naturally that we don't normally need to "add" fat. Now, this can change or be altered for individuals not general public. but if you eat meat fish and chicken you should be getting enough fat from pure processing of those foods.
Peatnut butter is not all bad, it should be used sparingly though.
in a nutshell, PB is a bodybuilding myth, like if women actually lift heavy weight they will look like steroid laiden men. (ok not true but what people believe and can't get out of their head)
ok, on a personal note, (have to go personal, cuz i experiment on myself........ leaving time for snickering.........done?......) When i started cutting i was all about calories and fat. low calories and low fat. not putting emphasis on what i was eating necessarily just the numbers. It kinda worked. Then a wise beyond words guru told me to watch carbs and forget everything else. (I was SOOOOOO against Adkins that this made me mad) i tried it to prove him wrong and lol and behold it worked. I lost the fat, kept the muscle and competited. granted i tweaked it a bit because i personally can't go with extremely low carbs.
well, i've hijacked your journal enough.... carry on and i won't return unless there are more shirtless picts..... jus say'n
